| The Children's Home concept is that of a "home away from home". It provides accommodation for children with cancer whilst undergoing treatment in Kuala Lumpur. The home allows children receiving treatment to stay with their family. It is run by a retired paediatric nurse who is well versed with the needs of oncology patients. |
The Home has a total of 7 rooms - 5 are ordinary rooms which can accommodate 2 to 3 people and 2 en-suite rooms for patients with special needs (e.g. bone marrow transplant). The ordinary rooms have communal bathroom facilities whilst the bone marrow transplant rooms have attached bathrooms. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioners and families are able to enjoy the comforts of home including cooking and washing facilities.

| The Home receives approximately 10 - 15 cases a month staying various lengths of time. The average duration of stay is one week for general patients and one month - six weeks for bone marrow patients. |
It is within walking distance from the hospital. For those who require transportation, the Home is easily accessible by taxi or bus.
